Yuko Kakihara was born in 1982 in Kagoshima, Japan. After graduating from high school, she studied popart at Vantan Design Institute, And she is fascinated by needlework of haute couture. Kakihara is inspired by daily life and an idea came up to her mind-mixing painting and needlework.
